while i was writing that last post i just put up,
my sister sent me this bit that her friend just wrote and shared.
and it pretty much articulates and speaks to
the very heartbeat of what i believe and live
and what i am currently wrestling with.
it’s also reaffirming, in the midst of this more restless part of my journey,
where i am between wanderings—
gathering and...
lemon tea with honey
and almond filled dates.
it’s the day after Christmas,
and another cold has swept in.
we sit on the porch
with the lamplight on,
bundled in sweatshirts
and scarves and blankets.
i just need to be in the fresh air tonight.
to find clarity in the cool bluster of this dark eve.
